Sarah advises, counsels, and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters arising under state and federal law, involving discipline, termination, leaves of absence, contingent labor, wage and hour compliance, reasonable accommodation, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Sarah litigates single plaintiff, PAGA, and class action lawsuits. Sarah helps employers obtain workplace violence restraining orders and navigate a variety of human resources issues, including policy review, employee classification, performance management, retention, and termination.
Before joining Boyer Wenter, Sarah worked as an associate at Mary Mary Law Group, P.C. as minor’s counsel, representing children in high conflict custody cases. During her time in family law, she worked on a variety of matters involving restraining orders, custody evaluations, and holistic solutions to serve clients. She also has extensive trial experience through her time as appointed counsel in juvenile dependency cases prior to entering the private sector.
In law school, Sarah worked at public defender offices at the state and federal level. While waiting for bar results, she completed a fellowship with the Northern California Innocence Project working on post-conviction relief.
